The proliferation of urban art from aerosol to stencil, paint markers to the points in-between, globally, has been a great mark of the rise of hip-hop and an expression of a universalized urban perspective and experience to some degree. Moreover styles have become distinct regional signatures and capitals have emerged in the three to four decades that it has been traceable to its current form. Grafitti being the grandfather of all forms of urban/street art, has been the most documented, dissected, spread and produced– to the point of the farthest reaches and corners of the globe being marked with the tags and throw ups of youth and dissidents. While Bulgaria is neither a capital of street art nor considered as one of its flagship members, talent resides there. NAST a writer from Bulgaria, is living proof.
